About the Event

Save the Date! March 5th, 2016. The Seycove Family of Schools is pleased to present the 34th Annual Seycove Auction, Dinner and Dance. This gala has successfully raised funds that benefit the four schools in the area, Seycove Secondary School, and Cove Cliff, Dorothy Lynas and Sherwood Park Elementary Schools since 1983.

As part of the annual tradition, a theme is chosen each year. For 2016 it is a Beach Party theme so get out those loud Hawaiian Shirts and get ready to party!

Time: 6pm to midnight
Dinner: 7pm to 8pm
Silent Auction: 6pm to 9pm
Live Auction: 9pm
Band/Dancing: 9:15pm

Get Involved

We are currently looking for help: someone to acquire donations from 5-10 businesses, we need take-down help, someone to watch over the auction as it's happening, help with auction item handout, and a recycler. Help us throw the best fundraiser of the year!

Buying Tickets

The best way to ensure you get tickets is to be a sponsor or to be on the committee. Last year's auction sold out in 2 days! Tickets go on sale Feb. 1st.

Dinner tickets with assigned tables are now SOLD OUT, unassigned dinner tickets are still available as well as after-dinner tickets.

Tickets are $50 for the dinner, dance & auction, $20 after-dinner tickets with entry at 8pm, auction tables close at 9pm.

Come to the Auction

Simply purchasing a ticket and attending the event is helpful. You will have an opportunity to bid on items at the live and silent auctions, and because the community donates all of the items, your purchase goes directly towards the proceeds for the Seycove Family of Schools.



Volunteer During the Event

Come help with the Auction Tables, the Buffet, Clean-up, Bartend for a few hours, or work the Ticket table, e-mail volunteering@seycoveauction.org. Thank you!



Where The Funds Go

The proceeds from the Seycove Auction are split evenly between the 4 schools and scholarships for graduates. The Seycove Auction made just under $40000 in 2015 and each school received $8000. We are trying to make more money this year so please donate items to our silent auction!

Each School's Parent Advisory Council decides where they will direct the efforts of the event. Funds raised by the auction have supported the following: Technology hardware and software; Teaching resources and equipment; Music and Drama programs; Sports and Athletic programs; Library resources; Awards ceremonies; Playground Equipment and Club activities.
